april 14 - 26 update
hiya! i completely forgot to write something up last week and figured, you know what, i barely did anything substantial last week so why bother?
either way, i did a very poor job at recording what i did in the first place, so i'll figure out a system for that .. eventually! but yeah, here's my little life update :3

overall, my mood was pretty neutral the past two weeks. nothing that really stands out, from what i can remember. overall, it's been a good past couple of weeks! on a different note, i may change this little section for the future. who knows ..
୨ৎ. books
throughout the past two weeks, i've only read five times, which isn't too bad at all! i'm now 87% done with the book welcome to the hyunam-dong bookshop by hwang bo-reum and i'm starting to dread finishing it. it's such a nice book that fills me with a lot of thought-filled emotions. it's so interesting, seeing how the author wove all these characters together, with the singular relation being the bookshop. they then slowly grow from that, from a simple customer to offering to help the owner with manning the cashier, helping with book clubs, etc. it's such a slice of life book and i absolutely love it. i haven't started the non-fiction book but i definitely will read that before starting another fiction book.

oh boy!! the previous week was mostly filled with my obsession over my vanilla survival world in minecraft. i built a small house (around 5x5) and then built a storage shed down the small hill that my house is on. within that, i explored the cave under my house and ended up finding so ... so many skulk related areas. i don't have a picture of my house (maybe next post!) but i do have a picture of the horrifying skulk area i found myself in. after that picture, i explored further and the skulk just .. continues. there's no end and i am such a wimp that i'm playing on peaceful right now so that i can focus on building. :3
besides minecraft, i've found myself crawling back into old school runescape and warframe! more warframe than osrs admittedly, depending on the mood i'm in. i finally made my way through my starchart and finally got to another important story quest in warframe, called the war within. i'm still at the beginning parts of it, so i have nothing to say at the moment, but i am very excited and i will be getting back on after i'm done writing this! and of course, a silly picture i took when one of the enemies was just existing, because same. so same. i also love playing koumei so much. she's easily accessible for beginner warframe players and i've been maining her since she released (oct. 02, 2024). i haven't regretted it since! i am slowly working towards making another frame but it's .. taking a long time, which is fine! just have to scan a bunch of flowers ....

on the 14th, i ended up calling my bsf and we spent a couple hours listening to kpop. it's something we've done over the past decade (DECADE?!!) we've been friends, as we both enjoy the music, and it was really nice! we mainly watched recent releases and then slowly diverted to watching older kpop mvs and just vibing, as we both miss older kpop vibes and music since it's so nostalgic. we did plan to do it again this weekend but my sleep schedule had other plans .. so hopefully, we'll be able to repeat it soon.

as always, i'm always watching a variety of things on youtube, and the past couple of weeks, i've mainly consumed minecraft content, namely hermitcraft. i am playing catchup on some of the hermit's perspectives which is a slow process, yet it's one that i don't mind too much. otherwise, i began binging a couple kpop variety show contents as well. i've been maintaining a pretty healthy relationship with kpop the past half year, which has done wonders for my mental (i think i've said that before, not sure). there's groups and idols i miss dearly and would rather consume their music and content in my safe bubble than see things on the internet about them.
that's another wrap for the two week update! maybe i'll make something for the book i'm reading or something else.. these posts usually don't have much as i stay home every single day (unemployed, unfortunately). oh well, it's still nice to look back through this and just yap on the internet. :3 until next week!
